Your COS Guide

Your guide is your big-picture person. They help you set goals, assess your progress, and suggest ways to get more from your subscription. Along the way, they’ll cheer you on and celebrate your milestone moments with you.

As part of your subscription, you’ll have monthly, 30-minute coaching calls with your guide. You can also access your guide via phone and email.

Your COS Specialist

Your specialist is your day-to-day contact focused on getting things done and checking things off your list. Get your child’s birthday party organized, book that overdue hair appointment, get the right contractor out for that home repair you’ve been putting off or even get ahead of the week’s meal planning so no one’s asking “what’s for dinner” again. You can hand off unlimited to-dos and chat with your specialist using the app.

The COS Network

A hand-picked set of third-party pros, experts, and local businesses who can help with projects large (landscaping your yard) or small (helping your son master long division). Need a hand? Your COS specialist can help you get a quote and schedule the work.

The COS web and mobile apps

Easily delegate to-dos from your phone, tablet, desktop, or laptop. The app is where you’ll create and hand off to-dos, chat with your specialist, prioritize your list, and review proposals. The app also lets you store details like logins, birthdays, and payment info so your COS Specialist can get things done faster.

Unlimited means unlimited, so you can delegate as much as you want in the Yohana app – creating a queue for your COS Specialist. As a rule of thumb, your specialist will typically be working on three active to-dos at any given time. If something more pressing comes up, you can work with your specialist to re-prioritize the list of active to-dos

Your COS Specialist can help with almost anything. Things that pile up – like booking appointments or activities for the kids. Things you never get to, like finding a pro to turn the garage into a playroom or researching volunteer opportunities for the whole family. Your specialist can even help plan the fun stuff, like a summer road trip or much-needed date night. Here’s a list of things COS Specialists are especially great at.

No, your subscription fee does not cover the costs of local pros or third-party services. If you give your COS Specialist permission to purchase a service (like food delivery) or hire a local pro (like a plumber from the COS Network) on your behalf, you’ll pay for this extra cost out of pocket, separately from your monthly Yohana subscription fee. All third-party service costs will be detailed in the options your specialist provides, and require your approval before anything is booke

Yes! When your specialist makes a purchase on your behalf, it’s processed using your credit card on file. We charge you for the amount of the purchase using Stripe, our payment processor, and you’ll always get a receipt.

There are some situations where your COS Specialist won’t be able to make a purchase for you. If this is the case, your specialist will let you know which items or third-party services you will need to pay for yourself.

Before your specialist can make a purchase on your behalf, you need to accept one of the options they’ve recommended in the app. The options they provide will show your estimated total along with one or more of the following components:

  • Base price: This is how much the merchant or pro charges for the goods or service.
  • Estimated taxes: This is the amount of the taxes that we expect the merchant will add to the base price.
  • Shipping: This is the amount for shipping that we expect the merchant will add to the base price.
  • Service fees: This is the amount of the fees that we expect the merchant will add to the base price.

Some of these components will be estimated because we won’t know the final amount until the transaction completes.

Once you’ve accepted an option and all costs associated with it, we’ll place a temporary authorization hold on your credit card for the total amount plus an additional 5% buffer to account for potential changes to taxes and fees. This appears as a “pending” charge on your account’s payment method. Once the transaction is complete, we’ll release the authorization and you’ll be charged for the final amount.
